Chief Quality Assurance Expert: RFP Requirements Years of Experience Professional Key expert shall have minimum 20 years’ experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in metro project. YOE in Metros / Railways Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience in Metro projects Qualification Required Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Qualified (Technical or Non-Technical) Doctorate or additional relevant post-graduation degree preferred International Experience (Relevant Metro / Railway) 5 years or more – Developed Country 1 year or more – Developing Country General Position Description • Develop the various Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs). • Develop a draft of the Quality Assurance Manual for the Client and finalize. • Develop suitable methods & systems to ensure implementation of the project is to the desired level of quality. • Prepare a Quality Monitoring Plan & monitor construction sites to ensure the quality of contractor activities. • Scrutinize & approve contractor quality assurance programs and monitor implementation of the Quality Management Plan (QMP). • Conduct tests and inspections on construction works in progress as per the provisions of the QMP. • Check that completed works are in conformance to specifications through specified test methods and standards. • Attend and convene meetings on quality and progress. • Perform tasks as assigned by your Supervisor Position Specific Requirements • 20 years international experience with at least one year of experience in development countries; more than 5 years’ experience in metro projects; • Doctorate or additional relevant post-graduate degree • Excellent command of the English language
